Community Plan 2024-2044

Community feedback is welcome on our draft Barossa Community Plan 2024-2044.

As a Council, we seek to maximise opportunities to work together with the community to enhance our unique qualities, whilst looking for opportunities to grow, plan and achieve prosperity for our current and future generations.

The Community Plan 2024-2044 is the next iteration of our 20-year plan to guide decision making through our vision, values and pillars: Our Community, Our Economy, Our Environment, Our Places, and Our Council. The Plan is aligned and influenced by relevant external strategies and informs our 2024-2028 Corporate Plan and other plans.

The redrafted Plan takes into account extensive public feedback provided during two rounds of Growth and Infrastructure consultation and also the Local Economic Development Plan consultation. Please refer to the Community Plan Review: Research and Information Paper for background detail.

Members of the community can give feedback on the plan from 3 July 2024 until 5pm 2 August 2024:
