Our seven community cemeteries are the resting place for many of our district's past pioneers and respected citizens. We want to manage these facilities in a caring, equitable and efficient way, and in line with community expectations.

Our draft Cemetery Management Policy outlines how we will maintain our cemeteries and the expectations of people visiting our cemeteries. The draft Policy also addresses how headstones, monuments and plaques (memorials) are managed.

People can give feedback on the draft Policy in the form below, via email at barossa@barossa.sa.gov.au or in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 867, Nuriootpa SA 5355.

Consultation closes 5pm on 16 July 2025.
