Consultation has concluded
The Stockwell Recreation Park Masterplanprovides a blueprint for future sport, recreation and open space development. Key improvements include a second oval, new and upgraded changerooms, spectator viewing, bmx/pump track and outdoor fitness stations.
In February 2019 Council undertook extensive community consultation. In addition to community and stakeholder engagement, Council hosted drop-in sessions at Stockwell Hall and Angaston Show.
The consultation attracted 18 formal submissions and 22 informal submissions. Council adopted the masterplan with a change of location for the BMX track.
