TheTanunda Recreation Park Masterplanreaffirms the Park as a significant community place for sport, recreation and community gathering. Key improvements include expanded Show Hall, LED oval lighting, multi-use function centre and clubrooms, junior oval and play space.
In March 2017 Council undertook extensive community consultation. In addition to community and stakeholder engagement, Council hosted open forums and pop-ups at Angaston Show, Tanunda Show and Barossa Farmers Market.
The consultation attracted 47 formal submissions and 79 informal submissions. Council adopted the masterplan, taking into account tree management to retain the amenity of the Park. Image: Pixels Above

Council completes a $1.7 million redevelopment of Tanunda Show Hall. LED floodlighting and an electrical capacity upgrade at the Park are also completed
