Consultation has concluded

The 2022 library service review was undertaken to examine existing public libraries services in the region. The review considered Council strategies, community demographics and needs, and public library industry benchmarks and trends, and community consultations in early 2021 and 2022.

Council is now seeking community feedback and proposals for

  1. Alternate library services and delivery in the Angaston region following Angaston Libraries closure from 1 January 2023,
  2. The future use of the Angaston Library site (two rooms and a foyer at the front of the Angaston Town Hall), and
  3. Library and Council service at Mount Pleasant Library.
