Consultation has concluded

The Talunga Park-Old Talunga Park Masterplan seeks to maximise the sporting, equine, event, visitor and community potential across these two key precincts in Mount Pleasant.

Key improvements at Talunga Park include new caravan park facilities, equestrian infrastructure, play space and shared- use facilities. Key improvements for Old Talunga Park include upgrades to courts, lighting and tennis clubrooms.

In February 2018 Council undertook extensive community consultation. In addition to community and stakeholder engagement, Council hosted open forums and pop-ups at Mount Pleasant community dinner and Mount Pleasant Show. The consultation attracted 15 formal submissions and 33 informal submissions.
